In the background is the PPG Aquarium.
Water's Edge will open in three phases. The polar bear exhibit will open in the summer of 2006, the sea otter exhibit will open in the fall of 2006, and the walrus exhibit will open in April 2007. Underwater viewing of all animals will be available in April as well. When completed, the exhibit will be one of only four in the United States that exhibits all three animals.
